May 4 (TheLedger) - Northern Province municipal chairman polls wrapped late Sunday evening after logistical delays elongated queues on opening morning.

Election monitors described turnout as respectable under the circumstances — roughly 61% — but reiterated calls for pre-positioned transport stipends ahead of rainy-season polling.
